BNE Property releases EOI for FIFO site
BNE Property, through CBRE, has opened an Expression of Interest (EOI) to develop a potential Remote Operations Centre (ROC) and dedicated FIFO facility at Brisbane Airport.
This EOI provides a unique opportunity to develop a facility to complement and support projects being developed or planned in Queensland’s resource regions, said Renaye Peters, General Manager, BNE Property.
“The mining and resources sector remains central to the Queensland economy and Brisbane Airport is well-placed to support innovation, development and expansion.”
This EOI is particularly targeted to mining, resources and infrastructure and engineering companies.
“ROCs have been developed at Perth Airport, and these types of innovative facilities are well suited to the airport environment supporting the growth of our city and State.
“Core to Brisbane Airport’s Property Development Master Plan is to create a vision for Brisbane Airport as a place of transit and gathering for people, ideas and materials,” Ms Peters said.
The intent is that any proposal would be on the basis of a single entity development only and will not be a common or multi-user facility.
National advertisements are calling on interested parties to lodge an EOI with CBRE by Friday 20 September 2013.
